Levitation! Big data! Dinosaurs!
Come and experience some of the University’s unique research outputs.
To celebrate International Data Week (11th-17th September) the Research Data Service is hosting a showcase of software and technology developed at the University. Researchers from a range of disciplines will be demonstrating their work in an interactive, hands-on environment, including:
Virtual palaeobiology
Ultrahaptics
Big data analysis
Interactive mapping
And more!
In addition, representatives from RCUK will be attending – come along and help to shape the new grants submission service!
Je-S will be phased out during 2017 and will be replaced with a smarter, simpler, more user-friendly service in line with the latest digital standards. This will be an opportunity find out about the new service and to engage in user testing. RCUK are particularly keen for academics to engage in this phase of testing, however, any interested parties are welcome to attend.
